Your Role
As a Technical Sales Representative – British Columbia, you will be responsible for developing and growing your assigned territory. You will act as a trusted partner and brand ambassador to distributors, partners and end users.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director (Ontario & Western Canada), you will play a strategic role in expanding JJS’s footprint on the West Coast.
Your impact will include:
- Growing sales and retaining existing customers
- Prospecting and opening new accounts
- Conducting product demonstrations and technical training
- Implementing growth strategies for your territory
Your success will be driven by your ability to build strong relationships, understand customer needs and deliver value-added solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of customers and partners across British Columbia
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Present and demonstrate JJS technical solutions
- Train customers and distribution partners
- Participate in trade shows, events and promotional activities
- Prepare tailored sales proposals and solutions
- Execute territory growth strategies
- Maintain accurate CRM activity tracking (Pipedrive)
- Maintain a strong field presence and customer engagement
Profile & Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Sales, Business or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of B2B technical or industrial sales experience
- Experience in abrasives, tools or surface finishing (asset)
- Strong knowledge of the British Columbia industrial market (asset)
- Strong organizational, time management and autonomy skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities
- Comfortable using CRM and digital tools
- Ability to travel frequently within the territory
- Valid driver’s license
- English required — French an asset
