Your Role

As a Technical Sales Representative – British Columbia, you will be responsible for developing and growing your assigned territory. You will act as a trusted partner and brand ambassador to distributors, partners and end users.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director (Ontario & Western Canada), you will play a strategic role in expanding JJS’s footprint on the West Coast.

Your impact will include:

  • Growing sales and retaining existing customers
  • Prospecting and opening new accounts
  • Conducting product demonstrations and technical training
  • Implementing growth strategies for your territory

Your success will be driven by your ability to build strong relationships, understand customer needs and deliver value-added solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of customers and partners across British Columbia
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Present and demonstrate JJS technical solutions
  • Train customers and distribution partners
  • Participate in trade shows, events and promotional activities
  • Prepare tailored sales proposals and solutions
  • Execute territory growth strategies
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity tracking (Pipedrive)
  • Maintain a strong field presence and customer engagement

Profile & Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Sales, Business or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B technical or industrial sales experience
  • Experience in abrasives, tools or surface finishing (asset)
  • Strong knowledge of the British Columbia industrial market (asset)
  • Strong organizational, time management and autonomy skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities
  • Comfortable using CRM and digital tools
  • Ability to travel frequently within the territory
  • Valid driver’s license
  • English required — French an asset
