Your role and responsibilities

1. Fabricate production tooling components:

  • Manufacture new tooling for production equipment according to manufacturing drawings;

  • Create sketches of parts to be manufactured when needed;

  • Perform metrology on fabricated parts;

  • Diagnose issues related to production tooling.

2. Perform repairs on various parts:

  • Repair existing parts according to directives;

  • Modify existing parts as needed.

3. Perform any other tasks as required by the company.

Requirements

  • ASP in CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining;

  • 3 to 5 years of experience on CNC machine tools.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming;

  • Strong knowledge in assembly, setup, and adjustment of machine tools;

  • Strong ability to read technical drawings;

  • Strong knowledge of cutting tools for lathes and milling machines;

  • Strong knowledge of surface and tangential grinding machines;

  • Autonomy and initiative.

Assets

  • Bilingual (French and English);

  • Knowledge of CAD software.
